Isli & Tisli is a Moroccan artisan brand based in Marrakech. We make raffia shoes, leather sandals, and woven bags — all handcrafted in our atelier and in the homes of artisans across the region.
No mass production. No machines pretending to be hands. No shortcuts. The slight variation in your weave, the small irregularity in texture — that's the fingerprint of the person who made it. It's not a flaw. It's the value.
A network of makers, not a factory.
We work with more than 30 full-time artisans across 5 villages around Marrakech — including Sidi Mokhtar and Ben Rahmoun. Most work from their own homes, set their own rhythm, and keep alive techniques passed down from their parents and grandparents.

Every item passes through several pairs of hands.
No two passes through this process produce identical results — and that is exactly the point.
Sourcing
Raffia from natural palm fibers. Full-grain leather. Palm straw. All natural, all sourced locally.
Preparation
The base shape is built and the raw material is cleaned, dyed and conditioned by hand.
Weaving & stitching
The slow part. A single raffia loafer can take a full day. A woven bag, sometimes longer.
Hand-finishing
Soles attached, edges sealed, lining set, the piece checked and packed in our Marrakech atelier.
Every piece ships from Marrakech. Every piece is made by hand.
