How to measure your feet
Measure at the end of the day, when your feet are at their largest.
Trace your foot 1
Put a sheet of paper on a flat floor against a wall. Stand barefoot on it and draw around your foot.
Measure the length 2
Mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe, then measure between the two marks in centimetres.
Use the larger foot 3
Measure both feet. They are rarely identical, so order using the larger measurement.

A penny raffia loafer handwoven in our Marrakech atelier — the classic strap-vamp silhouette, made in natural raffia instead of leather. Same shape you know, half the weight, built for heat.
The raffia is woven by hand over the last, so the upper takes the shape of the shoe rather than being cut and stitched onto it. Inside, full leather lining means no break-in period. Underneath, a leather outsole.

Care
Brush with a soft dry brush. Keep away from prolonged damp. Raffia is a natural fibre, so weave and tone vary slightly between pairs — no two are identical.
Why a woven penny loafer
Leather loafers are miserable in summer. A raffia upper breathes the way a woven basket does — air moves straight through the weave — so you get the structure and polish of a penny loafer without the heat. Beige and light brown reads as a neutral, so it works with linen, denim and relaxed tailoring without fighting anything.
